I´ve been waiting for an opportunity to get envolved in the Lead Painters League and this looks like a nice "baby step" - Count me in! :)

Actually... I wouldn't call it a "baby step"... perhaps a small benevolent wood chipper might be more precise.

 :D

I'm painting to win... grrr...  >:(

 ;)

Looking forward to your entry.

Oh yea...

Okay... do the entries must be "Christmas related" or just mainly "red and white"?
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://www.kingdomtitans.ca/us/

Up to you really... there will be no disqualifications for content.

Of the 3 I have received 2 are Christmas related and 1 is not.  Mine, which I am still laboring over, is quasi-Christmas related with a little twist.

I have an idea, so I am in as well. Just for the fun right?

Will PM when I get a photo of the finished product.

Hint - I have not sculped a santa hat.

PM sent. My entry is finished.

Ray, sorry if that picture blows monkeys - we are pouring snow here at the moment, and I can't get any better light on it than that. I even lightened it with an editor.

Pah! Snow...what the hell. We don't get snow in Portland, Oregon until January. This is lame.

I always have problems with light as well.

Don't worry though, its a kewl mini, with a fine paint job.

Is there still time to join in on the competition? I am new to the site and am not much of painter, but it sounds fun win or lose.

Dr. Pepper, the deadline is Christmas Eve, so you still have time to get an entry in.

I painted this a while back so it’s not in this competition but it fits so I thought I would share it again.  Maybe it will get more people to join the fun.
