Christmas time saw many Feldpost parcels sent to the eastern front. I am glad that I could take some photos in the open at last...

lol
So you're able to make some use of that weather...
Fantastic pics, as usual 8)

I thought there were going to be pictures of models... :)
-
Great paint! I especially love the scenery ;)
Great stuff,
Brian

those are really nice! some of the pics are absolutely realistic!!! :-*

I find the snow very poorly done. Russian snow is far different to German snow, which this obviously is. Can I recommend the book 'A life in East European Snow' by A. Pedant. Please try and get the fine details right! ;)

Very Nice as ever, love the little white touches on the front wings very nice. Which kit are they and is the paint finish the same as your armoured car?
The Commander

WOW :o

They came in a set with a Henschel 129 aircraft each and were sold by an Italian company called SUPERMODEL, though I spotted the exact sprues in Tamiya boxes (only the lorry, but the same price!).
Yes, I think so. I have painted and weathered them just the same way.
With the rest of the fleet:

Awesome models and pictures!
I am reading Guy Sajer's The Forgotten Soldier the book recounts the tail of a supply column moving through Russia. Freezing to death. Your photos do a good job of capturing that lonely open feel.

Amazing :-*

Is that behemot to the far right in scale with the others? If it is, fuck me! It looks even bigger than a FAMO.

It is in scale, and it is indeed a FAMO 18ton tractor. Don´t underestimate the size and weight of the actual thing. It was built to recover tanks! The models width exacts that of my StuG IIIs (and these are narrow in comparison with a Tiger). A Schwimmwagen is smaller than a modern compact car and was smaller than a Beetle then, the Opel 3ton lorries were not that big too (their beds are about 2x3metres).

Alright then. It is huge. Michi, that is a brillliant set up you've done there in natural light and real snow. Simple and very effective.
-
amazing...
it would appear Michi has taken the next step towards the invention of a genre:
"small scale reenactment" ;)
will there be fares too? ;)
and do You also prepare for gaming by listening to old "Wochenschau" records?
or watch gangster movies if You prepare for pulp gaming?
I guess it is hardly necessary to ask if You have period musing running?
;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)
when does the moving picture come?
can we have a "making of" with interviews of the Miniatures spoken in period accent? please?

Was that the mega pack of snow effect flock that you bought?
