I find the snow very poorly done. Russian snow is far different to German snow, which this obviously is. Can I recommend the book 'A life in East European Snow' by A. Pedant. Please try and get the fine details right!

They came in a set with a Henschel 129 aircraft each and were sold by an Italian company called SUPERMODEL, though I spotted the exact sprues in Tamiya boxes (only the lorry, but the same price!).

 I am reading Guy Sajer's The Forgotten Soldier the book recounts the tail of a supply column moving through Russia. Freezing to death. Your photos do a good job of capturing that lonely open feel.

It is in scale, and it is indeed a FAMO 18ton tractor. Don´t underestimate the size and weight of the actual thing. It was built to recover tanks! The models width exacts that of my StuG IIIs (and these are narrow in comparison with a Tiger). A Schwimmwagen is smaller than a modern compact car and was smaller than a Beetle then, the Opel 3ton lorries were not that big too (their beds are about 2x3metres).

Alright then. It is huge. Michi, that is a brillliant set up you've done there in natural light and real snow. Simple and very effective.
