Some slightly larger shots of my frame gun battery from last week's round of the LPL...
All from Bicorne Miniatures, although interestingly, from at least two, possibly three different sculptors... ;)

Very nice work, the buildings too great too.

Strikingly good paint jobs Cap'n. As regards the figures, I particularly like the chap fiddling with his pistol and the expression on the face of the guy holding the wick (correct terminology?). Wonderful.
-
WoW :-* I like very much the clean of the miniatures, the colors are perfects. xD
-
...the guy holding the wick (correct terminology?)...
Linstock, I believe.

Thank you. :)

Wonderful stuff as always Captain. :-*
Now get back to painting Zulus... ;)
-
Very nice. Very very nice. Makes me want to get to my TYW figures and do something about them.
-
How can you be bothered to paint all that woodgrain?
Top job, as always. 8)

Cracking stuff Captain, is it a frame gun? or a small falconet as it is different form the frame guns I have seen before
-
Lovely stuff, but purple sashes :o o_o ::) - you flashy devil lol
The guns could even be described as galloper guns I suppose ;)
-
Yes, the purple's not terribly historical, I know. At least not for ECW... But for TYW maybe? ;)
Not sure if these are more like falconets or galloper guns, but they're what Bicorne sell as frame guns... :?
I shall try not to worry about it too much ::)

Happens to us all every now and then...

Wonderful stuff that Captain, now for the odd pointless question. The powder barrel has a bit of sack cloth on it, was this sculpted by you or part of the original?
cheers

Part of the original, James. A sack inside the barrel I suppose... I think I've got some more of these knocking around if you're need one or two :)

I might be tempted to get my Perry ECW out again :) Got your tray sorted, I'll pm you a photo towards the end of the week.
I found that the GW 'Bronzino's galloper gun' works quite well for ECW/TYW, I'll see if I can get a photo of that done aswell.
cheers
