Great Hinterland stuff, but I think I've told you that before.  Their pink facings may be new though, yes?  Great force, altogether.

Do you have a better shot of the gasmask on the left in the pic below?  What's it from?  I have to admit, it looks a lot like a commission I have going on right now.  :(

No they are unchanged, mabbe just a marginally better photograph.  That b****y woman Lady Busbridge is insisting upon two compnaies accompanying the expedition, so bright pink facings on the command and skirmishers soon I hope!

I will add a pic to the thread for you, its the steam lancer from Black Pyramid, dont think theres another pic on the web at the moment. I expect TC has got him in his force too.

The expedition will consist of the following initially

2 x  10 XCo 24th Foot (plus Bromhead)
2 x  10 XCo 3rd  Foot (plus Capt Fred Burnaby).....if Im not fed up painting redcoats
1 x   5 17th Steam lancers
1 x  10 10th Ghurka Rifles (Plus Lady Joana Bumleigh )
1 x   10 or 20 Royal Engineer Steam/Clockwork automatons ( plus Lt Chard)
1 x    10 Zooloo militia (plus Quatermain )
2 x  GLAM (plus Lady Busbridge and handbag)
1 x 10 RN boarding party
1 x  RNLS Triton (
2 x Scout Tanks
1 x  Mining Mole (plus Professor Challenger)
1 x Kernow Mining Company( ....not sure what yet)
Plus a few other bits n pieces.

With the exception of the Kernow Mining Company  everything is in the lead mountain, but painting is planned for February.... Zulus and the other companies of the 24th foot currently on the painting table.

Hes from Black Scorpion http://www.blackscorpionminiatures.com/index.php?cPath=22

Heroic scale but goes ok with the Black Pyramid Tea Wars range, I am also adding a Redoubt officer to lead the second platoon. These are big boys!

Absolutely brilliant Mors!    :D

God bless the queen indeed!

Love the clockwork soldiers and horses especially.  Where are they from?

Is Lord Chelmsford's expedition heading anywhere near the Magellan Valley (Mars)?  That dashed fool Bond has been making things difficult up there  http://www.durhamwargames.co.uk/battle_reports/2010/04/index.asp (http://www.durhamwargames.co.uk/battle_reports/2010/04/index.asp)

Yes, I second the question about the clockwork horses.

The horses are Mage Knight mounts (from the Whirlwind series), sometimes available from 'singles' stores such as Troll & Toad or Noble Knight Games in the US.

Wonderful army with a great selection of troops... very nicely painted, I might add.

The more I see of the Black Pyramid minis, the more I like them.

Looking forward to updates!   ;D

Fantastic Mors! Very impressive indeed and hope to see these in the flesh one day.  :-* :-*

Unfortunately I haven't added a steam lancer to my forces yet but its on the list.

Dont let Malamute hear you say that.  ;)

Actually the Black Pyramid troops are not as I originally painted them, had a bit of  nightmare with the spray varnish and had to give all the main colours an ink wash to recover them, pretty much obscures the 3 layers of shading! Shortly afterwards dropped the Steam Lancer officer snapping his arm off which now requires pinning and then I knocked a tub of flock over the carpet. Was not best pleased!
Some of the bases need finishing too.

But it's worth it!   :)

Mars is definately on the agenda. Currently X Co 24th and 17th Steam Lancers are on there way to the newly discovered continent of Atlantis , after sorting out a little probem there they will return to England and meet up with the other units at Chobham to be reviewed by HM the Queen (gawd bless 'er). Venus is the first planet due for a visit , depending how long it takes consolidate our possesions from the dominant German forces there , HMAS Prince Albert will then procede to Mars with a possible sortie on Mercury first and then onto so far indiscovered planets across the aether. Love the battle report you have, particularly like the colour scheme on the Ironclad tractor , my British scout tanks are in green but might do the tractor in it too now rather the black as I had planned.

Thanks for all your comments guys
Mors

Absolutely smashing force you have there Mors! I think a  :o is in order!

And good to hear that they're en route to Atlantis New Cornwall, to be honest the forces of Her Imperial Majesty (Gawd bless 'er) seem a bit bogged down there; they need fresh tea and a jolly good bucking up I feel.
