Great Hinterland stuff, but I think I've told you that before.  Their pink facings may be new though, yes?  Great force, altogether.

Do you have a better shot of the gasmask on the left in the pic below?  What's it from?  I have to admit, it looks a lot like a commission I have going on right now.  :(

No they are unchanged, mabbe just a marginally better photograph.  That b****y woman Lady Busbridge is insisting upon two compnaies accompanying the expedition, so bright pink facings on the command and skirmishers soon I hope!

I will add a pic to the thread for you, its the steam lancer from Black Pyramid, dont think theres another pic on the web at the moment. I expect TC has got him in his force too.

The expedition will consist of the following initially

2 x  10 XCo 24th Foot (plus Bromhead)
2 x  10 XCo 3rd  Foot (plus Capt Fred Burnaby).....if Im not fed up painting redcoats
1 x   5 17th Steam lancers
1 x  10 10th Ghurka Rifles (Plus Lady Joana Bumleigh )
1 x   10 or 20 Royal Engineer Steam/Clockwork automatons ( plus Lt Chard)
1 x    10 Zooloo militia (plus Quatermain )
2 x  GLAM (plus Lady Busbridge and handbag)
1 x 10 RN boarding party
1 x  RNLS Triton (
2 x Scout Tanks
1 x  Mining Mole (plus Professor Challenger)
1 x Kernow Mining Company( ....not sure what yet)
Plus a few other bits n pieces.

With the exception of the Kernow Mining Company  everything is in the lead mountain, but painting is planned for February.... Zulus and the other companies of the 24th foot currently on the painting table.

Hes from Black Scorpion http://www.blackscorpionminiatures.com/index.php?cPath=22

Heroic scale but goes ok with the Black Pyramid Tea Wars range, I am also adding a Redoubt officer to lead the second platoon. These are big boys!

Absolutely brilliant Mors!    :D

God bless the queen indeed!

Love the clockwork soldiers and horses especially.  Where are they from?

Is Lord Chelmsford's expedition heading anywhere near the Magellan Valley (Mars)?  That dashed fool Bond has been making things difficult up there  http://www.durhamwargames.co.uk/battle_reports/2010/04/index.asp

Yes, I second the question about the clockwork horses.

The horses are Mage Knight mounts (from the Whirlwind series), sometimes available from 'singles' stores such as Troll & Toad or Noble Knight Games in the US.
