I got a bunch of these power armor guys from the commission section of my local game store. The original owner couldn't remember who made them. I love the old school look of these figures. I was trying for a classic Sci-Fi paperback cover look for this.

Looks to be one the Metal Magic Spacelords miniatures - a Cybertech Heavy I think. They were part of quite a large range that was very, very nice.
EM4 have all the molds, but only a small selection have been released. Here are the available Cybertech troops:

I really, really wish EM4 would start to roll out the rest of the range, as they were superb! :-[
Lovely PJ by the way! :o

I would also say Spacelords vom Metal Magic. Try this side: http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~tpope/sol/metal-magic/spacelords.html

Doug keeps promising to bring more of the old stuff back, we just need to keep nagging! ;)
-
Top PJ, suits the mini down to the ground.

How many years can we keep it up for though!? ::)
I have an old catalogue full of Spacelords I want, but I can't get them! I'd be a very happy man if Doug released the Wartechs and the rest of the civilians and personalities. And some more of the Phagon Battleclones.
Doug, are you listening? lol ;)

Don't forget the jetbikes, the jetbikes!

:-*
Great paint job on the model BTW, does him much more favours than the one on the EM4 site (Cybertech bunkerbreaker, autogun advancing Ref: 3001c).
-
Yep, those jetbikes rock! :-*
-
It's the Sardaykin I want -- lovely figures. I had one of those jetbikes when I was a kid, but I hardly did it justice.
-
wow nice model range.. never knew about these :O....

Hello,
I can see the potential of these minis for a project of mine, but I have to ask are they 25mm or 28mm scale? I am thinking specifically of using them with Citadel Rogue Trader era minis.
If anyone who has them in hand can comment I would be very greatful.
Thanks

Yep, they'd work with Rogue Trader era stuff. ;)
-
Indeed, they're smallish 28mm with integral bases. If you stick the bases to slottas the height difference is minimal. The human trader in my Squat force is from this range as well:

Though the height difference is less clear because the other models are Squats ;)
-
thanks you both for your input, they are becomming more attractive by the minute. I feel another EM4 order comming......
Lovely squats BTW, I must have missed that thread first time around :)
-
Funny, all the Spacelords blisters I saw years ago were c**p, but now that I think on it, may just be because I was finding them in cut out bins.
These piccies are starting to change my impression, indeed.
Wait, what are these 'Squats' of which you speak? Some legend with no basis in history? Delusional ravings? A couple of boxes in my basement, at least 90 strong? lol

@beast: Unpainted they are not so good, but with some makeup they are great...
-
Do EM4 have the moulds for those jetbikes? If they reissue them I'll be all over them like a tramp on chips.

Rumours say, that they have all, but they only released what you can see on their website

Understood; nothing a lack of vision on my part can't explain. :D
Thanks for the verification! Requires giving due credit to the 'makeup artist' as well, of course.

Thanks for all the nice compliments. Now that I've seen them I want those jet bikes. So cool.
I got a couple more Spacelords finished.

Niiiiiice! :-*

Very nice. That rugged, worn look really brings out the best in these old models. They look like they've been in the wars!

I spoke to Doug on these about a year ago, yes he has the moulds and was going to dig them out, time for another PM methinks. :D

Get him to have a look at Stuff of Legends: http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~tpope/sol/metal-magic/spacelords.html
There's a full listing with codes that he may find useful. And let us know what he says! ???

Who sculpted them? they have a little of the Bob Ollley feel to them?
Would be nice to see them all released, I especially like the PHagon but the marines are good too
