Still no actual history on the history channel I see. Anyhow, might be of some inspiration still, I'm sure that they will have a few idea's worth stealing for wargaming in there.

Buts that's bollocks though, celebrating the anniversary of H. G. Wells The War of the Worlds... Did no one involved with the production even read the bloody book  ??? :-[

I'll probably watch it but be moaning all the way through  ::)

cheers

I usually get my moaning over early so I can then watch the eye candy :)

There won't be any looking at the trailer. Maybe, just maybe some senario ideas...

cheers

Hmm, just watched it... Why is it 1914-1917?

Oh, it may conflict with the original but it does look nice the way they've mixed the archival footage with cgi.
It's just a bit of fun and at least it doesn't have Tom Cruise in it.

Exactly  :?

True but it doesn't really have anything to do with the original apart from 'Mars' and trypodial walkers  :?

Yeah, I know. :?
But the old footage odes look good. My only gripe is that I hope they interview other people other that Americans. If they are Brits it will give it more of a flavour of the source material.

It looks...interesting. Maybe some ideas can be used with 'All Quiet On The Martian Front'?  ???
