Oh, it may conflict with the original but it does look nice the way they've mixed the archival footage with cgi.
It's just a bit of fun and at least it doesn't have Tom Cruise in it.

True but it doesn't really have anything to do with the original apart from 'Mars' and trypodial walkers  :?

Yeah, I know. :?
But the old footage odes look good. My only gripe is that I hope they interview other people other that Americans. If they are Brits it will give it more of a flavour of the source material.
