Title: Crooked Dice: Villainous Archetypes - OUT NOW

Four Villainous Archetypes - l to r: Underworld Boss, Sinister Mystic, Otherworldly Invader and Despotic Dictator. These are the first 3D prints from Ernst Veingart since he moved to sculpting with Z-Brush and to say we're delighted with the results is an understatement. Bigger pics over the coming days including a look at the Mystic's goat mask head…

*Wasn't quite sure where to put these, but they have an alien in, so plumbed for FW board - apologies in advance if it needs to shift!

This being said, I agree with Andym that the quality of the sculpt would really justify a run of high quality "resin master" castings like Hasslefree does; I'd pay through the nose for those.

Many thanks! It's a swagger stick with a very distinctive pommel. I'll share close up pics over the next couple of weeks.

In particular, he's retained that sense of physicality, of the way real bodies mass and move, that digital sculptors often lose (as well as his way with a likeness, of course).

Great stuff. Like the guys were saying, you can hardly tell they were printed digital sculpts. Very good.

He'd be a bit thin for Amin. Have you seen Matakishi's "President for Life Hasira Kiboko"? Probably a better starting point.
