Title: Quick Pulp Alley Guns question
Post by: FramFramson on 21 February 2016, 10:43:58 PM
If a crewed gun's crew is knocked out but the gun itself is not destroyed, can any player re-crew the gun, or only the original owner?

I think any player may crew it, but rules for "unattended" guns aren't actually spelled out directly so I just wanted to make sure.

You are correct. If a gun does not currently have a crew, then any character may become the crew by moving into contact with the gun. Basically, the control of a gun is determined by who controls the crew.

FYI -- The same applies to vehicles.

I knew that's how it worked for vehicles, which was why I was mostly sure that it would be consistent and apply to guns as well, but just wanted to make sure. Thanks Dave!

Just for fun, sometimes we will even deploy an uncontrolled gun during set up. And let the leagues race/fight for control.  lol lol

THAT'S a great idea!

It makes a fun objective and it doesn't usually throw the balance off even if one side captures it early.  ;)
