Unsurprisingly I have jumped on the recent releases by Warlord and Mantic to go along with my Crooked Dice zombie PA games. I decided to use all of the 28mm modern stuff I've collected over the past few years and go hog wild.
These are the first mega box from the Studio Minis first KS. I have 4 or 5 boxes of 17 more to go and I think they'll supplement the plastics well.

Cheers Doc! I think the card tokens are fine, but I bought so much nice terrain and minis I really wanted to jazz the entire thing up. I plan to make my own objective tokens as well :D

I really love the rival gang leaders patch, that's some nifty freehand work you've done there.
Though you are a braver man than me, using all those metal zombie minis when there are so many plastic options available these days.
I've gotta ask the question, how many zombies is enough though? I mean, where are you personally going to draw the line?
I'm nearing 100 myself, with another 20 or so to go, and I'm looking at the unpainted ones and thinking to myself, do i really need to even paint these?
Sure there's no upward limit to how many zombies can come into play in most Zpoc games systems, but really, if you've got 100 zeds in play, even the most streamlined of systems will get bogged down

I have probably 80 Studio zeds and another 60+ plastics... Yes, enough to stage my own invasion. I plan to base a bunch on a cd to use as a small mob. Some games call for that and it looks pretty awesome. Otherwise it'll be a mix of lead and plastics. And that doesnt even count the Zombicide minis... another 100 or so. Yikes!

:D Always happy to help!!! I bought the 5 mega mobs from the Studio KS a year ago. They are such a pleasure to paint. I have 6 kiddies I just primed today. The rest of the gang will be some recognizable Mad Max characters. Wez, Masterblaster and then three generic gangers in the same style. They'll be up against the Max and Goose on the page here and I just primed Furiosa.

I feel your pain. I have both the plastic boxes of WGF survivors, the new sprues from Warlord and then a ton of lead... Enough survivors to lead a decent counterattack against the waves of zeds...

I hear you (although with the Studio metals alone, I have @ 150, plus the sprues upon sprues of plastic! I'm playing around with the Warlord game, the upcoming Mantic game and now the Skirmish Ragers rules from Studio games.

Thanks! No problem, the mini on the left is resin from Bad Roll Games in Spain. The mini is beautiful, and originally standing on part of an engine, so I changed the item for mine. It also comes with an alternate head, a knife and a model of Dog.

We had a really great holiday! Russian Orthodox Christmas is 7 January, but since I've been with Ali her family is very happy to celebrate 2 Christmases every year. :D
I dont recall exactly the vendor, but it was a chinese seller on ebay. I just looked for 1/72 and 1/48 scale fences and got these and a few more. iirc, SUPER cheap as well.

lol I am like a kid in a toy store that I own, where to start!?!?! Since everyone is painting up the Mantic plastics I thought I'd do these as an alternative... and the fact that I prefer the show over the comic. Big props on the Negan, he looks just like the actor!

Thanks! Yeah, it's Maggie, but since Studio doesnt have the license, they have to change the sames. Weird they chose 'Laurie' but I wanted people to be able to id her from the site... :D

Agreed, but there are no so many 'bad guys' sculpted from Studio not-TWD yet, so I have to take what comes :P

I finished Glen and now have enough minis for a three on three tomorrow. I also painted up some terrain, the first being a Zombicide barrier.
