African Shantytown
« on: 17 July 2017, 05:51:42 PM »

Hi everyone! For my "That's My USAid - Congo Chaos" game at Historicon this past weekend, I made up a batch of ramshackle African huts for a shantytown. They went together very quickly and turned out great, I felt. Check out my blog post with more pictures and construction details.

Thanks for the kind words! He seems like a really nice guy...my friend Keith couldn't stop talking about how pleasant and enjoyable it was to game with him. Maybe we can return the favor one day and pay a visit to you guys...!

I played the Deerfield game which was great fun, a well balanced scenario with rules that made you think about the tactics rather than worry about the mechanics. The USAid game looked good too, there was plenty of multi-player action taking place on a terrain packed table. Gaming at its best.
