28mm castle ruins1
« on: July 25, 2017, 07:03:30 PM »
Hi all,
Here I have a repurposed fisher price toy castle....
materials include, foamcore, kitty litter, parsley and oregano for the vines and dead leaves, craft sticks...and a ton of watered down white glue to seal everything up.

As always, ALL critiques are welcome...
Cheers,
Carl

When I saw the original product and your listing of materials I was rather doubtful, but dang you did a marvelous job!! 8)

That is a really great piece and of a good size too. The casting of the sides leaves a bit to be desired, but that's no your fault of yours, and you did a stellar job on the horizontal surfaces, which you'll be seeing the most of on the tabletop anyway.

A real example of what great pieces can be made from decidedly mediocre base models. :)
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...
