Bunches of Bananas and Date Palms
« on: 07 November 2017, 07:01:10 PM »
Hi,
Here is a blog entry showing how to make bunches of bananas and embellishing some cheap plastic date palms bought from ebay.
http://www.warfactory.co.uk/wp/2017/11/07/bananas-and-date-palms/

I hope you find them useful.

I've not been posting too much over the past year or so due to my health, and the same problem might mean that this is the last 'how to' I get around to.

In case it turns out to be so, I just wanted to say that this is undoubtedly one of the best wargames sites on the web.

Thanks to those who have contributed to the goldmine of ideas and inspiration that I have benefitted from over the years.

Long may it be so.

Al

Like the bunches of bananas idea.  Will see if I can find something suitable for my 15 mm scale.  And best of luck on the health front.  But not a bad last post if you have to focus there and not on your hobbies.

Thanks for the idea!

Same. And a lovely little tutorial. We get those scale-like needle lengths here, so I'll be collecting them when I see them. If just to make a banana processing facility.

Thanks all, comments appreciated. If I get an idea for 15mm I'll add it in.
