Flintloque up to date
« on: 29 January 2015, 04:12:46 PM »
Okay, I have been playing again but just not taking pictures or what pictures I do take are a bit lousy. Still, I vowed to myself to get pictures edited and up none the less. Didn't realize this would mean deleting most of them for blur, shakes, etc. Ah well...

Grumbling Grognard's Ogres that have been undefeated. I think ogres and trollka may still be the bane of Flintloque. They were often a little too stout even back in 2nd edition. I think GG bought them already painted off the 'ol Ebay.

I know the game was a disaster on my end. Even using various undead dirty tricks to improve shooting and whatnot I couldn't hit an ogre much less wound one.

I did finish my undead divison for Slaughterloo and EVERY picture was garbage. I mean there wasn't a single decent picture. Will try to get back on the horse and get some decent pics.

Last month's game was a three way exercise of dwarves teamed with Todoroni against my undead section.

The Julianna Dwarves moved ahead and took the brunt of the musket balls as the Todoroni redressed their lines (multiple times) in prepartion to throw back the undead horde.

I mean, the dwarves actually marched over to tell the Todoroni to quit making formations and get stuck in already!

It was cresting over a hill with heavy musket fire and eventually the combined forces of the dwarves and Todoroni were thrown back. And as battle really commenced I forgot about the camera.

We have the next game on this Sunday and I will try to stop and take photos, lots of photos of everyones sections. I just need to relax and realize it's not a crime to stop the game and take some pictures.

It's always great to see some Flintloque minis.

I particularly liked the dark blue and yellow colour scheme on the ogres.

Very well done.
