28mm Matildas - Queen of the Desert
« on: 06 January 2018, 05:52:38 PM »

https://yarkshiregamer.blogspot.co.uk/2018/01/matilda-28mm-queen-of-desert.html

I seem to be rocking on with the Desert stuff at the moment, it's a good job too, as the house is full of unpainted resin, with more on the way after the great Blitzkrieg Miniatures sale.

Three lovely Matildas to add to the two I already own, that's going to take some stopping on the table. Painted in my usual style they are ready for action.

Regards Ken

That's nicely timed Ken,

Simon and Mick from 1st corps, are due to pop round next week to pick up the British tank crew for the Blitzkriegs Matilda.

So they should have some at York on the 4th .

Mark.

These are gorgeous and I particularly like the crew commander waving his arm about.

I hope you don’t mind a nit pick; I am fairly certain that the turret hatches don’t go down so far on the sides when opened up.

They probably don't Tim, but these are Wargame models that will be repeatedly handled during games so by dropping the hatches down I get one big or sometimes two glued contact points for added strength.

Hope that makes sense.

Who doesn’t love a nicely painted Matilda II!
