Wounded
« on: January 05, 2018, 03:20:28 AM »
A Quaker helps remove the wounded from the battlefield with his wheel barrow. The mounted officer points the way to the field hospital, as he gallops by to join the battle.

This is the first of a blizzard of small vignettes that I am finally finishing up. I had some fun with this and really enjoyed making it. I wanted the ground to look trampled and roughed up and I am happy with the finished result.

The wounded officer is a Perry figure, who has been converted by replacing his original head with a Kings Mountain Miniatures head.
The mounted officer is an Old Glory figure. He also has had his head replaced by a KMM head. His steed is an original Ebob sculpt that Bob did for me.
I cannot recall the wheel barrow figures maker.

The figures were painted by John Bryant. I did the conversions and all the basing and terrain work.

I don't think he's wounded, it's after the battle and the boys just had too much to drink. Much like when drunks have the urge to go riding in a shopping trolley :)

Lovely work, as usual.

Nice paintjob! And your basing is beautiful, as usual!
