Robin Hood
« on: 11 January 2018, 10:44:15 PM »
I very rarely post images of what I am up to as they are usually dire. So I bought me a cheap lightbox from China and I think it has helped. These were bought a year ago and have languished since.

First up is Robin

Next up is Marian? Maybe...

Big Little John

The people of Sherwood

Robin and his Merry Men, including Will Scarlet in the red hood.

These were taken with an iphone and are much better than my previous efforts. For a first go I'm pretty chuffed but will have to look at composition and focus a bit more.

Thanks for looking.

Great looking figures and nice brushwork. Who manufacturers them?

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks all, they're a bit of a mix.

Robin is a HYW archer from Font Rank
Little John is a Foundry Viking
Will Scarlet is from BTD Men of Averaign range. Marian is Empress Matilda and the archers are a mix of Normans and Crusaders, all BTD
The priest is Gripping Beast. There's an Artizan Viking and the civilians are Curteys

I have loads more to paint, mainly BTD and Curteys but they're on a backburner atm.
