BOYL show miniature

I had the honour of pressing the green, making the master mould and production mould of this figure for the annual bring out your lead event at wargames foundry, here’s the painted example, it’s sculpted by Tim Prow

Unlike the previous BOYL figures, I'm not getting the Oldhammer connection with this one. Can somebody clue me in?

I th  it no it’s more rt, 40k, I’m not exactly sure what he is, but maybe some kind of Sensai or mystic?

Nice figure.  The glowing eyes effect is particularly effective.   :)

He was conceived as a navigator on a hover platform, evoking a couple of RT illustrations (by Paul Bonner & Tony Hough).
