Some of that painting is incredible!

Did you mix in lighter colors with the base color to get those nice transitions or did you use a different paint?

Just wondering.  I'd like to be able to do that, too.

Great job!

Very nice treasure markers! I have been thinking of doing something similar with various contents of my bits box. Should provide an opportunity to use all those odd parts that never look suitable on any model.

As for wyrdstone (warpstone), I was under the impression that the native material (as e.g. found in the comet that hit Mordheim) is actually black in colour, while the refined version (manufactured by the Skaven) glows with green or purple shade.

Thanks. Yes they were fun and satisfying to make, digging around in the old bits and bobs finding what was lurking at the bottom that could used. I'd encourage anyone to do it.

Didn't know that about the Wyrdstone. Oh well too late now, they'll have to stay green.

These are all quite amazing! And delicious painting. (Wish I had known about those extra-long hood heads!)

Thanks. Yes the heads are a great improvement on the Frostgrave ones in my opinion. I think I searched every online parts retailer before finding them!

First of all, great game and it has a large and active group on Facebook and of course Tom’s Booring Mordheim page. Secondly, I agree with you, Mordheim is 20 years old now and still my absolute favourite game. Thirdly, what a nice warband and awsome markers.
Btw, I have been playing this game litterly since the release, and I have never heard about black wyrdstone. It’s green. So don’t worry about that! :)

Generally I use other paints rather than mixing my own colours.

Some lovely figures I’d missed previously.

Hadn’t seen those Tabletop Arts cultist heads before... very tall and pointy...I wonder if the higher up in the cult you are, the taller and more pointy your hood/hat  :D
