And finally Mr Simcoe himself. Even if I did not manage to do him justice, sculptor Sean Judd made a great look-alike on the character in the ”Turn” TV series:

The Indians are very good well done.
I think this type of sculpting such as the Indians suits Sean Judd style. A slight caricature heavier face details suit these .expressive figures. Sean's movement tends to work better for individual figures on average ( there are some very good marching figures but you have to be selective) his expressive style is a plus.

I agree, Sean Judd make great individuals but for unit conformity Front Rank is superior.

Played my first game with M&T2 yesterday. The gameplay was smooth and much faster than I imagined. I see a lot of potential in using these game mechanics for other conflicts both for skirmishes and bigger battles. A few shots from the game, which was an encounter with around 60 miniatures per side. The British units attacked vigorously but were repulsed by the American volleys and cannonfire:

British regulars attacking across the wheatfield

Hessian Jägers pouring in supporting fire

Rangers and Iroquis infiltrating the flanks

A furious melee ensue where the British general is slain and his forces are routed with heavy losses

Only Queens rangers can retire in relatively good order

It was great fun :)
