Jungle Bunker

Was having a dig around the scenery pile last weekend and amongst other things, found this rather spiffy jungle bunker/complex I built around seven years ago at Easter, (I know it was easter as the main bunker section is an old cadbury Sqegg plastic box!



Nice piece, great for some wierd war adventures or pulp nazi's in the amazon kind of thing, (originally built for 40k but I won't tell if you don't!  ).



It's over a foot square, foamboard and polystyrene shell, with textured filler over hill.

The earthworks around the bunker has been lined with balsa/metal shims from an old generator capacitor. Various bits of barrel and jerry can buried into the piece.  Well painted and a nice gaming piece.

I reckon it would benfit from a piece of 'canvas' attached from the bunker entrance to the posts at the steps myself (with a nazi flag or rising sun draped over it possibly), or maybe some corrogated iron?

Could even remove the squegg bit and make more of the earth works, artillery fortification?

Sadly one of those items that I'm going to probably be looking to sell in my space clearing.

Nope just as nature and the fishtank intended. And it'll be the jewel in the crown of your wierd war japanese forces!
