Argantyr II from Barbaric Splendor Miniatures
« on: 28 July 2020, 05:01:48 AM »
I have finished painting the master of Argantyr II, which is a form that is midway between human and werewolf (the miniature is also around 40mm to reflect the growth between forms). Through his use of his wolf cloak and his tome of gramarye (On the Black Art of the Fenrir and Becoming the Lycanthrope) Argantyr can control his transformations, which will be more fully revealed in upcoming tales by Howie K. Bentley. This is for my current Kickstarter which is on track for September delivery.

I like it - the pale look. Great paint on the hair and cloak, too.

Question is, what does he use those skulls for?

As of now, the skulls are just something the sculptor felt needed to be there, but I am sure some kind of lore could be worked out :)
