Thank you very much for this EXCELLENT introduction to the rules. I will provide your blog entry as a reference whenever people ask me about a detailed first impression!

The new monsters and their bases in the Battlesworn Supplement are:

Giant Eel 40x40

Lake Beast 100x50

Water Elemental 50x50

Personally for my gaming purposes the Battlesworn expansion did not really tick any boxes. The focus on water-related battles just is not my cup of tea when talking about fantasy. The reused art was an annoyance but the writing is good!

However I think one of the main aims also was to get the concept of expansions "on the road" so to speak. Hopefully the future expansion will offer more for grumpy middle-aged game art aficionados and  Tolkien fans like me  lol

What do you think about the engineers? I think they add a nice tactical option with building cover.
I dont really understand the 40x40 base of the Eel... The size is unique in Oathmark. But Im happy about the Water Elemental because now we can use the Reaper Genie, what I bought for my wives elven army (because it looks very girly). I know, its not a Water Elemental, but I think the rules fit pretty well.
