Regiments of Renown - Harboth and the Black Mountain Boys added

Ah, Harboth's Black Mountain Boys .... for me they were everything a Regiment of Renown should be. My first and certainly my favourite. They never beat my brother's Bugman Rangers, not once, but I didn't hold it against them.

Nicely done. I never had the original Harboth's though I did have the second, later, incarnation in Harboth's orc archers.

Great stuff! They were my first RoR as well, and I still have a few of the troopers, the standard bearer and the drummer. But Harboth himself is long gone. He's one of the best Citadel miniatures ever, I reckon. I like the variant with the axe, but he doesn't have the sheer thuggish insouciance of Harboth's arm-crossed pose.

Beautiful collection there Quendil, the Knights of Origo especially look awesome, but it makes me so sad to be reminded of minis I parted with along the way!

Thanks, will have to get back to this at some point but haven't done much in the past two years and it will be another year at least before I have a hobby area again.
