Colonial Militia.

I decided to go with  Perry Miniatures  28mm ACW metal figure for my FIW Colonial Militia. I painted them in a variety of colours and adjusted some the hats to purposely make them look like a rag tail bunch of men.

Great painting on these! Are these a mix of the AWI northern and southern militia figures? I have some of the southern militia in my ranks, but I may need to add some of the northern packs after seeing these.

Love ‘em . Your flesh tones are very convincing. The subdued palette with the odd colourful waistcoat works very well . ✔️

Yes, the relatively muted colour scheme works very well for militia without being unduly drab.
