Hello,

I am looking for information about the uniform worn by the police force (British or Indian) in India.
Would like to build up a small police unit to use in a game.
The men were Native and officered by British officers ora whole unit of Europeans?

What date? Early C19th is hugely different to later.

It is indeed. I shall check for you on the actual uniform. At that date however the majority would be native Indians, with a significant Sikh proportion I believe. Not that there weren't still quite a few europeans.
