These are classic minis - great paint job.  Completely agree about the eyes. I very occasionally do them on character models nowadays but most folk get a dark brown eye socket.

Thanks James. I'm not quite sure how or what I'm painting these for other than the joy! They may transform into an army of some sort- perhaps for Dux Britanniarum, Dux Bellorum of Midgard!

When I think back to painting all the eyes into every miniature! My eyesight just cannot cope these days as illustrated in my last attempt above! If I'm honest, looking back 20 years to the "paint all the eyes in days" I reckon their might just have been a little excessive pride involved!
