I truly enjoy Alpha strike.  It was the "quick play" version BT needed for entry level play and new player fun. It is worth the try. 

I can now realistically play company level engagements without a hitch.  The streamlining also means that infantry, armor, flyers, all can be added with minimal fuss. Giving that total war feel players love.

Nice one Louie, I have been a Mechwarrior since 1988, which isn't exactly yesterday either I`m afraid  , which more and more these days I get to thinking, just where did all that time go? I will see if I can secure a copy of Alpha Strike, I have the PDF but I like a real book in my hands to read.
