Clan Invasion KS Wave 1 - Clan Wolf (New Fighters 10/4)

Through the awesome generosity and making a deal he could not refuse a friend provided me a Wave 1 Kickstarter box and salvage boxes.  Thank you Friend!

I did a full weekend of painting to get this Binary of Clan Wolf ready for battle.  I do not paint in light(er) colors normally so this was a little challenge that turned out better than I expected. 

A powerful command Star with a few small friends.

They are supported by a classic pair of Jagatais



I want to match them against the Comguard for a Battle of Tukayyid campaign.  I suffer and wait for the Comstar boxes to hit the shelves.

Thank you all for the comments.  It is greatly appreciated. 

The new class/style/art of the new miniatures are very worthy.  The fact they are all scaled "properly" off each other makers my OCD very happy.   

I missed the kickstarter (regret!).   so I am now waiting for the box sets to hit retail shelves to expand my armies. 

Majorsmith, The new miniatures are plastic, very sturdy and durable.  I had a few items that needed to be adjusted.  The hot water technique worked in most cases.  You can drop these minis without fear of breaking.  Accidental testing was done!

Agreed, bloody good stuff, however I stick to 3025 pre-clan stuff unfortunately

I liked the Clan stuff when it came out, but I think broke the game (Classic BattleTech that is) so now I stick to the unseen and other Mechs, luckily I did hold onto them.

I have never played Alpha Strike or even any of the non-FASA stuff, whats the verdict?

I truly enjoy Alpha strike.  It was the "quick play" version BT needed for entry level play and new player fun. It is worth the try. 

I can now realistically play company level engagements without a hitch.  The streamlining also means that infantry, armor, flyers, all can be added with minimal fuss. Giving that total war feel players love.
