GZG 15mm shacks
« on: 08 November 2021, 07:11:38 PM »
Bought some GZG shacks and painted them up.  Strangely enough I painted them twice.  I tried the District 9 shack paint scheme, and then I realized I had already done that before.  So I tried for a more unified paint scheme, and I liked the results.

I also noticed there aren't a lot of online pictures of painted versions of these GZG beauties.

I bought some cargo containers and used GZG bits and Oshiro Terrain to make some larger buildings.

Looking good. The paint scheme looks well weathered. Not the rich end of town for sure!

Looks good.  You're certainly right about these kits (and a lot of GZG stuff) being under-represented online.  I used to have more images on my old blog and a slew of saved images that never got posted, but a hard drive crash last year wiped out a couple of decades worth of work.  Really need to be better about backing up my photo galleries more often.

Those turned out really great! The paint work really gives it that long term look and a little bit organized like a colony that has settled in over time. Very nice work.

Nice work.
I like the bar most, that sign can be seen from a distance  ;).
Gave me the vibe to do a Saloon with swinging doors for a
Firefly western type showdown.

They're lovely! :-* I bought some a few months ago and haven't made a start on them.
