I occasionally buy non War-Gaming magazines, especially if
something catches my eye.
Such an event occurred this week.
The January edition of Railway Modeller has a 'Free set of
two photographic backscene sheets'
As it is intended for railway modellers (no surprise there) the
'scene' is of British countryside (20th Century) so as is would
be of use for:- VBCW, Operation Sea-Lion, The Eagle has
landed, Winter of discontent etc. But with a little amendment
here & there, (to hide some details with say a tree) its use
could be widened.
The sheets are, '290mm (H),X 800mm (L)'
'The two sheets join together seamlessly to create a
complete backscene that measures 1600mm in length'
The Mag costs £4.95, but if like me you might have bought
it anyway, then the backscene is free. Otherwise not bad
price for a backdrop. They even include an article about
how to use it.
