Seeking a Planetary Name of Suitably Pulpy Stature

As Fantastic Worlds moves closer to having the rules complete, I'm turning my attention towards the fiction that will weave through the book.

While character names and scenarios are coming to me quite nicely I am hung up on the name of the planet the characters will find themselves on.

Since my wife and son are probably tired of me spouting non-sense words while watching TV looking for that perfect name (Baraka, Tannis, Mulva?) I've decided to ask the brain trust for some help.

It's one of those things where I'm certain I'll know it when I hear it, so if you have any good ideas, I'd love to hear them.

Mongo, Barsoom and Tantooine will not be accepted.. ::

Dusnomia, after the goddess of lawlessness.  It's a great name and ends in a vowel, important for pulp scifi place names.

You might want to try out a software called gename. Depending on the input data, it will generate tons of cool-sounding names. There are data files for orc names, elven names, various human names available, but you can generate your own input files as well quite easily.

I'd pick some popular (yet unknown today) product from the Pulp Era, taken from period advertising. Like 'Burma-Shave', although not actually 'Burma-Shave'.

A quick look through some of TVAG' s excellent 28mm posters suggests 'Venerex', which may  be an oil company (although it may also be a sexual stimulant as my Googling skills suggest)

How about a name based on one of the comic publishers ?
Preferably an old firm that isn't around now rather than planet DC.

You could perhaps try an anagram of "Amazing Stories", or maybe a translation of it ? What is the German or Russian for amazing ?
