1/100 Stuart Sizes
« on: 07 March 2022, 04:16:54 PM »
Could somebody please help and provide the dimensions for the Battlefront plastic Stuarts, M3 and/or M5?

I've got a bunch of the Zvezda M3s (late model production), and they scale pretty well to 1/100.

Picked up some PSC M3 Honeys and M5A1s.  On the sprue, they looked a little big, but after assembly, they are giants.  They ride a little low, but otherwise compare very closely with the 1/87 Heiser models!  Fortunately, I also game WW2 in 1/87 so the PSC kits will get transferred over there.

So now I'm hoping the Battlefront ones will come in at or very close to 1/100.

I have the M8 Scott (assembled from the same sprue as the M5) and it's just a teensy bit bigger than the Zvezda M3 Stuart.
The hull is 46mm long, 23mm wide and 21,5mm high (measured in the middle, since the M5 has a raised engine deck).

Thanks, Sarmor, that's good to know.

I did just put in an order this morning with Skytrex, including their M5s so hopefully those will work out.
