52 ND Regiment of Foot
« on: 25 June 2023, 08:04:21 AM »
MY 52 ND Foot.

I'm not a big fan of plastics. I find them fiddly to assemble and prone to breakage.
However, in the hands of a proper modeler, an excellent look can be achieved.

I did not assemble nor did I paint these. They were done by someone far more skilled than I.
They were purchased at an absolute steal of a price.
Probably the best examples of plastics that I have seen thus far!

I did do the bases and the flags!! So there is that!

I am on the same page for plastics - seems a lot of work compared to metal figures.  But a friend has a modest (compared to yours) collection of beautifully painted AWI all in plastic.  They are light weight which is both a positive and a negative - easy to tip over.  But I just don't see much resale value in plastics, probably why you got such a good price.
