Creature ideas for Outremer?

Highland Miniatures’ range of Crusaders includes a three-figure set with a reliquary though in the image I’ve seen this takes a different form from what one might expect. Unfortunately I can’t work out how to  insert it but at least one Etsy seller is listing the set.

Indeed. Not quite how I imagine the True Cross but you never know what you might find in a Kinder Egg.

I would be thinking along the line of Ray Harry Hausen/40 thieves like cyclops, gorgons, scorpions and jackel men fir the arabs, djinns and the like would be good too.

For the crusaders, Heresy miniatures' Angel would be a good fit
