Thanks, and the rising river works Ok i think .
I first made the river too wide and then cut it lengthwise .
The majority of the river was then hidden under the mat and advanced a little each lap lap by lap.
And after round 2 it was not possible to cross the river and units in the river have fallen into disarray.
Hope you understand can not explain better  :D

Alan has just show masters for some new Napoleonic civilians, about 3 or 4 packs, IIRC.
No plan survives first contact with the dice.
