Like you, I find the exaggerated proportions of the Warlord Games mini's rather awful. Overly thick arms & legs and "Commando Comic" facial poses.

I am just about to order some RKX Heer minis from a local print shop who have a licence for their range and I should receive them before the end of the month.

If you can wait a couple of weeks I will be able to post some comparison shots so you know what you're getting from them. I will be interested to see how the vehicles (Hetzer, Kettenkraftrad) scale with my existing stuff.

Also bear in mind that you can shrink / enlarge STL's by a %. So if these don't mix well with other ranges a bit of tweaking may make them more acceptable.

Oh nice. Looking forward to your review. My WWII project is a slow-moving affair.

Judging from ther pic of the HMG set the designer has got the size of the ammo bandolier width far to wide and if its filled it deos not sit like that, jumped out at me because Ive just spent weeks trying to get that right on the 20mm ones Im designing and come to think of it the kneeling pose has its legs far to close together.

Adventure Time? I couldn't find anything on them through Google.

A few years back, when I was looking around at different Fallschirmjager options, I came across a company called Fix Bayonets:
https://fix-bayonets.com/
I couldn't find much about their size on the Internet, although I seem to recall finding out that they were sculpted by Ebob and I found one blog where they were used alongside the metal Warlord figures and possibly the Perry Fallschirmjager too.
It's also not clear if the business is on hiatus or not, but it might be worth pinging a message?

Received my RKX 3D prints, so wish me luck here - I don't normally review things and my photography skills are not the greatest.

First, the normal disclaimer: I have no commercial or other relationship with either RKX or the "local" 3D print shop which holds a licence for their range.

What I ordered:
German Panzerschrek team (look to be in winter gear)
Fallschrimjager sniper (I intend to do a headswap)
Fallschrimjager Kettenkrad
Fallschrimjager Schwimmwagen
Hetzer

First impressions:
The sculpting on the faces is a little "soft" but there is no-one screaming "Achtung Scheweinhund!" or "Aaaiiiieeeeee!!!!", which is nice.
The proportions all seem pretty right and they don't look out of place alongside WG German grenadiers.
I don't have enough knowledge of the finnickity uniform and weapon details to detect any problems or errors - experts feel free to point out the problems.
I did foul up - all the figures I ordered are in crouching poses, so I have tried to put them alongside similarly posed Warlord Games German grenadiers,

I did order some of the vehicles, namely:
Kettenkrad
Schwimmwagen
Hetzer

The vehicles are great and the price simply can't be beat. The Kettenkrad and the Schwimmwagen were each roughly $10 NZD, about the same price as a Big Mac. By comparison, a Warlord Games metal WW2 German motorcycle with 2 riders costs $25+ NZD.

The Hetzer cost $20 NZD, about 1/3rd of the price of a WG plastic kit. It arrived in 5 pieces: 1 x hull, 2 x tracks & running gear, 1 x remote MG for atop the hull & 1 x main gun barrel. The barrel is a little lumpy bumpy and needs to be cleaned up, but I have seen much much worse on both metal and plastic kits.

Enough teasing, some photos - First up RKX / Warlord Games German grenadiers

Sorry for taking up more posts with photos - I suck!

First photo:
Games Workshop / RKX / Foundry / Warlord Games / Eureka

Second photo:
Perry / Warlord Games / RKX / Front Rank (I think)

Well, scale wise they certainly look to be compatible. Personally I like minis that are screaming orders or warnings.  :D
