Anvil Industries have a limited time print on demand range of extreme power armour in a similar style to Appleseed Landmates.

No idea what I will do with them but they look good.

Very, very nice - I can see a good logic to the design and where the pilot goes. I think I want one now (at least 1 probably more) but no idea what I'd use it as!

Ooo these are some nice looking minis. I might have to grab them at some point...not they are limited time minis though, I think there was a pre-order discount for buying both as a fire team.

Look forward to seeing what you do with them.

I bought two of the limited time twin packs.

The only issue I have seen so far is the operators arms use the standard Anvil rotation only arm sockets but the puppet arms have ball and socket joints. Theoretically the puppet arms and the operators should be positioned similarly.

This is how the Tau crisis suits should have looked.

No reason a person couldn’t pick up a couple, build them with some Tau weapons or/or accessories and come up with a suitable hybrid. Unless you’re intending to use the model in a tournament game, of course. And it would be a tad (more) expensive.

The XV-88 were very flimsy around the ankles, I had to repair one
Strictly speaking  they are walkers, as the pilot sits inside the body

Same as the Anvil Ogre.

Those crisis suits are so weirdly designed.  The firewarriors have that nice slick, curved shape, especially the helmets, and these suits are just clunky.  Too many corners, too bulky, not harmoneous like all the other Tau stuff.

The retracted hands are odd but not a bad idea.  The jetpacks are too big and clunky for me as are the missiile packs.

Most weird are the feet.  They don't make sense.  Even if these are jumping walkers they should have nice strong feet with a heel that can stand up the suit without something else supporting it.  That's the point of feet.

How does the suit stand when turned off?  How can it land without falling over?  It's just ridiculous to me.  I love the idea but the implementation looks like a concept sketch (not drawing) that should have been rejected.
