As for Lydians,

These are Blitzkrieg, painted by my chum Mario.
A millionaire trapped in a peasants body!

After some time digging around on Google, I had come to the conclusion it was nail art!

Great idea.

Thanks.

They do look similar don’t they?

They are Blitzkrieg models from the Persian range.
I’m not sure they are on the web page yet?

I’ve actually had them ages, they were test prints when the sculptor first did them. I’ve only just got round to doing them.

The last bits are a war tower and hopefully a king in a chariot.

Those nail transfers are great and good value.

I’ve got a basic picture of the whole force now, I’ll post a better one when finally finished.

I’ll do a better full army shot, when I feel I’ve got closer to finishing it.

lol……
Not sure when that’ll be though?

I’ve got a unit of open order light cavalry, a unit of extra heavy cavalry, but not a unit of basic close order cavalry.

So now my ‘finished’ list grows..
King in a chariot.
War Tower
And a unit of heavy cavalry.

I’m also considering Phyrigians?
And I do have a unit of generic ‘Arab’ looking spearmen, which are already built. I’m thinking Nabatean types?

Argh!

Glad you found the nail transfers of use Tim
How do you find the Blitzkrieg  Persians versus Victrix Persians?
I've liked most of the Blitzkrieg stuff I've got in the past.

I love Victrix stuff, the Numidian range being my favourite.

The Blitzkrieg miniatures are lovely too, nice and chunky, they remind me of the old Vendel range. Plus easy to get paint on, if that makes sense?

This Persian force is truly a multi national and multi manufacturer army.

It all seems to mix ok together.
