Thank you.
As the vessels are the theme I want to make them as properly as I can rather than paint a fly spray lid with copper paint.
I agree it'll be interesting, good, on the other hand...

The curved top of the still is going to be a right nightmare. I think I'll model and 3D print mine, then sand and paint.

I had one of these for Christmas.
Doesn't mean I can use it, which may explain why I bought so much copper!

I keep looking at those and keep putting them off for other tool purchases.  Cant wait to see where you go from here.

After two or three false starts and minor failures, this project feels like work, not fun, so I'm going to give up now and do something less frustrating.
(Also, if I ever finish it I have no idea where it will live.)

I'm sorry to hear that Tarnegol. Sounds like you've made the right choice though.

I'm struggling with my build too at the moment.

I get that. I'm struggling with my build too. May pivot as well.

One of the reasons I'm pushing as hard on my shuttle as I am is because I've absolutely had previous BSC rounds where I ran out of momentum. It happens.

Sorry to hear it.  You always build neat stuff out of different materials.

Thanks all.
I think "biting off more than I can chew" describes my experience accurately!
I'm feeling a distinct lack of enthusiasm for it, and I'd rather paint the dinosaurs I bought from Magister Militum before they closed!

Yup, that's how I felt until I switched to something that had an actual wargames use (and is a simpler build)

Will die together in the end.
