Hoping the assembled wisdom of the LAF can help me out...
I had planned to start painting a C15th French army, so naturally I have started planning an early C14th Catalan Company force instead...
I'm struggling to work out what cavalry figures would be appropriate; I know it would only be a small component of the force, and the foot troops I have aquired/have found where I can acquire, both Almughavars and others.
Trouble is, most of the 15mm ranges I can find with potential suitability either go earlier into the C12th, or late C14th into C15th, and the early 1300s seems to get missed out.
I've had a browse on here and seen some other threads featuring peoples' Catalan Company armies, and likewise various internet searching - I
think that cavalry in mail and coif, or steel cap, would be appropriate, and either caparisoned or not for the horses also works?
Kettle helms I think also making an appearance, the Byzantines had them so seems appropriate to see in the Balkans and Greece in the period. Mail, though, rather than plate?
I am wondering whether these from Khurasan would be appropriate for knights or Aragonese cavalry? Sorry about the giant pictures, not sure how to make them smaller! (Pics are directly linked from Khurasan's site, not my painting!)

They are the best match I can find, but I'd appreciate anyone more informed being able to confirm/deny or point me at other ranges.
Geek Villain do some 3D printed 15mm - Spanish 'Medium Raider' cavalry, which look quite good but I wonder if they are too early? They look more 11th Century, to me?

Any help much appreciated! Thanks!
