A small update:

Just trying to finish off a few figures in the painting queue before Christmas, and managed to complete a unit of Rifle Volunteers.

The colour scheme is legit although I haven't based them upon a particular unit...lots of references to rifle green, along with grey as a uniform colour for the Volunteer units.

Another unit that has been sat in the queue for a while... not originally painted by me, rather these are refugees from fleabay...arrived a bit battered and sad looking (not the fault of the seller, rather because the courier appeared to have played football with the parcel). 

Retouched/rebased they are now ready to quell a riot.

The figures are from North Star.

Nice looking cavalry, although for crowd control, 1860s style you'll probably want some Yeomanry and an officious looking type as the Lord Lieutenant, who has ordered them out.

59th (2nd Nottinghamshire) Regiment of Foot

A bit of a mix for this unit...some refugees from fleabay that needed some TLC, and some freshly painted - all Perry Intervention Force minis.
