Dirty deeds done dirt cheap
« on: 28 March 2025, 10:06:02 AM »
Ahoi, here come my latest swashbucklerettes, freshly excavated from the pile of false treasures. I forgot where they came from over the past decades, but I am sure there are Freebooter's Fate and Dark Sword (and probably Reaper) among them.

If the winds will keep blowing in the right direction, there might be even more to come.

I saw those on your blog, and wow! Those are simply fantastic...  :-* :-*

Of course, you now realize the AC/DC song is stuck in the mind of everyone who reads the post...  :D

Very nice. I think at least the figure on the extreme right of the photo is by Black Scorpion.

Outstanding work on those deadly ladies.  I recognize all but one.  They are (l to r) from Black Scorpon, Reaper, ?, I think Dark Sword, and Black Scorpion.  I could be wrong about the Dark Sword one - Aardtacha and I both think it is DS, but don't see it on the Dark Sword site. EDIT: Yeah, Dark Sword, a Tom Meier sculpt.  Didn't show up in their figure finder, but still available in their "Special Edition" section).

Anyway... anyone know who makes that middle figure?  I like it.

Thank you very much. This is what I thougt too.
The one in the middle is obviously sculpted by Werner Klocke. I therefore believed it was Freebooters Fate, but could have been released under any other brand as well.

Yes but as always it's the local versions of the lyrics that come first and foremost to mind.

Dirty deeds, Dundas Street.
Dirty deeds and it's Dundas Street

Of course there also the school boy's favourite.

It's a long way to the shop if you want a sausage roll...

Very nice work on the Motley Crew Michi. :-* :-*

The motley crew shangaied a few more lasses from remote harbour taverns beyond obscure waters...

The miniatures seem to be from Shadowforge, but I'm not 100% sure.
