Wargaming Magna Britannia and the Ultimate Reich

Not quite sure if this is the right forum, so sorry if its not.  However, not to long ago I was reading El Sombra part of Abbadon Books's Pax Britannica series, and having been intrigued by the idea of a British Empire that seems to rule most of the known world (namely how it should be) and the Ultimate Reich (ruled by a giant robotic Hitler) that opposes it, I couldn't help but wonder if anyone has any ideas how I could wargame this.

What I'm thinking is initially a small skirmish game similar in nature to the events described in El Sombra though maybe set on the Eastern Front (the book mentions one of the villains, Eisenberg fighting unnatural creatures there) to start off with.  Later a larger game (possibly in 15mm scale) with British and French forces defending against a German assault on the Maginot line.  For this I'd want to add in stuff like walkers, super-heavy tanks, rocket fighters and anything else that's weird and wonderful.

So if anyone has ideas, post them along with suggestions about where I could find the minatures.
