It took a few moments for each side to reach each other's gunnery range.

Absolutely smashing old chap. I really like the islands, are they scratch built?

Must confess I was a little disappointed but only because of my own error  ;D
On opening the thread and glancing at the first thumb I thought you had built a true leviathan of an airship but quickly realised it was the back of a chair ::)

 lol

That really would be a mother of an airship... so big that it could hide behind the curvature of the Earth!

"That's not a moon... it's a blimp..."
"It's way to big..."
Everyone pauses as the awful truth sinks in: sooner or later someone is bound to say:
"I've got a baaad feeling about this..."

How does one spell 'curvature'? Peaope keep telling me there's a spell-checker on Firefox but I've never managed to find it  ::)

Anyway, nice one with the report Lupus; the battles for Atlantis move to the skies now, excellent! Maybe in coming weeks you'll get to battle over the Lost Continent itself!

Oh indeed that could well be this week as Her Majesties Aeronef Commander has asked the fleet to bomb a resupply depot of the German command.

It looks really good, I wish I had the funds to get into it right now, but I guess I have to wait some months for now...

I have made some similar looking Islands & mesas for both Pirates & Mars. I use the vacuformed plastic forms from toy packaging & a lot of acrilic paint. I'll post some pictures when I get a chance.

Fantastic looking fleets and terrain Lupus and an absolutely brilliant battle report as well, it's really inspired me to get cracking on the British and French starter pack I bought just after Christmas.

Thanks for the report, very inspiring.

I've got some similar islands I made for Man O' War some years back.  It' very tempting to make a few 'nefs to fight over them! :)
