I picked up a copy of a War Transformed a while back and have been putting together some patrols. I have British and German Empire so far with plans to do French as well.

I have finished photographing the British and have enough to put together a 20SP patrol.
The core of the minis are from Wargames Atlantic with additional ones from Great War miniatures, Gripping Beast, Crooked Dice, Reaper and Horror Clix!

First up my Captain and Witch. The Captain is an old converted Westwind mini and the Witch is from Crooked Dice

I Have two Infantry Sections with an NCO in each section and one section with a Lewis gun.
Both are from Wargames Atlantic. One section is wearing gas-masks so I can tell them apart.

A machine gun unit by Great War. They have Wargames Atlantic heads and a custom base

A sniper team. A converted Wargames Atlantic mini and a Great War mini (spotter) on a custom base.

A lancer unit by Footsore miniatures. Two of the horses are Warlord ECW for variation.

A unit of Trench Raiders. Great War Miniatures and Wargames Atlantic conversions.

A harrowed unit- Scarecrows ( Gripping Beast)

Queens of the May unit ( Crooked Dice)

A MKIV Male tank from Skytex (North Star)

In keeping with a “British Theme” I have tried to create manifestations which would fit in with the lore.

The “Snatcher” is an Imp/Brownie wearing Elizabethan clothes (antediluvian miniatures)
The “Beguiler” is a Vampire mini from Highgate Miniatures
The “Haunter” is an old Horrorclix mini
The “Prowler” is a Murder of Crows from Reaper minis
The “Devourer” is a Strawman from Crooked Dice
The “Crusher” is an old Horrorclix mini

I’ve really enjoyed putting these together and have plans to build a trench set-up for the table top.
I will post my Germans shortly.

That is a great collection, cunningly curated from so many sources, and beautifully painted and finished  :-*

Looking forward to seeing what you have done with the Germans :)

A fantastic force - great work on them - they really come together, even though they are from many sources.

Wow, and ANOTHER Pappa Midnight thread, with far more than just the tanks. What a force you've assembled! Particularly love the commanders and that sniper team, but they're all very well done.

Wowzers, as if WW1 wasn't scary enough it's now got horror being to eviscerate the human chaff!

Painted soldiers look amazing, the barbed wire muddy bases work so well. I look forward to seeing some more when you get to it thanks for sharing.

Cheers
Matt

Thank you all for the comments, very much appreciated.
As promised I have put together a 20SP German Empire patrol.
The core of the minis are from Wargames Atlantic (Death Fields Les Grognards and WW1 Germans) with additional ones from Great War miniatures, Reaper, Frostgrave, Mantic, Spinespur and Games workshop.

First up my Captain and Witch. The Captain is Wargames Atlantic and the Witch is a Frostgrave mini.

Two Infantry Sections with an NCO in each section and one section with LMG.
Both are from Wargames Atlantic . One section is wearing gas-masks so I can tell them apart.

A machine gun unit by Great War. They have Wargames Atlantic heads and a custom base

A sniper team. Both are converted Wargames Atlantic minis on a custom base.

A unit of Hexenjager. Frostgrave and Wargames Atlantic conversions.

A Unit of StossTruppen. Gamesworkshop and Wargames Atlantic conversions

A Flamethrower Team. Converted Wargames Atlantic minis

I have an Armanist as an alternative to the captain (Converted GW Necromunda mini)  with a group of Harrowed in the form of some Westwind zombies

An A7V tank from Skytex (North Star)

Below are my manifestations for the Germans

The “Snatcher” is a rat skeleton from Mantic Games
The “Beguiler” is a Frostgrave mini
The “Haunter” is an old mini I have had knocking about for years (Alternative Armies?)
The “Prowler” is a Barghest Beast form Puppets War
The “Devourer”  (Three head Werewolf) is an old Spinespur mini
The “Crusher” is Bone Golem from Reaper

I am now looking at getting some French.

Great stuff and effective! Have you developed your own lore for these groups as well?

Just excellent! I particularly like how you painted the gas masks.
Got to kick at the darkness till it bleeds daylight.
