Ricon 2010 (Pic Heavy)
« on: July 04, 2010, 04:31:48 PM »
Once again gamers from SW Ontario gathered at Rico's place for the semi annual clash of dice.  As always VSF was represented, as well as Wild West, Pulp, Vietnam, and WW2.

A brief synopsis (from memory) - The Russians and their French allies have pushed into British territory, and are now defending their gains.  The Brits and a few ragtag Persian allies have pushed forward intent on dislodging the invaders and sending them home.

The Battle lines are drawn

The Brits advance and engage.  The Persians charge the French positions on the hill but, despite heavy casualties the French hold.

The Russians are not so successful, their defensive positions being easily breached up and down the line

A glimmer of hope for the Russians when the Mechanised Spider Riders turn the British right flank.

So endeth the battle.  Rico deemed it a minor British victory, the Tsarist forces disagreed (of course).
Persian, and the road to India will be ours (one day)

Cool looking game.
