These were new to me:

The ever prolific, omnipresent, multitalented Mr. hicks again, I presume.

Thems nice heads thems is.

Brigade have so much stuff you need to book a holiday before venturing into the website. I bet there are other gems to un-earth too.

Quite so. And organized according to rather peculiar principles. You have to browse it like you browse a Notting Hill antique book store. Still one of my favourite halts, perhaps for that very reason.

And they release something nice just after every order I make. Do you know if North Star or anyone else stocks their full WW1 range in Europe?

No, but I know that our sponsor Miniaturicum, located in Germany (see banner below), carry part of the range

These heads are just great. I just received 2 batches of them. No need for European distribution. shipment takes less than a week. Brigade have a $15 flat rate and their parcels never get stuck in the customs. Can you ask for more?

In a word yes. $15 is a lot if you only want a few bits and larger orders will attract duty & even worse, handling charges.

Dont get me wrong, I think Lon offers a great service and could hardly do more but being on the other side of the pond has its downsides.

Lon has an envelope option for small order. I have received a dozen of orders across the pond for the last years and they never attracted the interest of the customs, so I am a happy customer  ;)
